Sustainability Report

The report presents Nornickel's 2021 group sustainability performance under the GRI Comprehensive option and UN Global Compact communication on progress. It highlights 10.3 mt of Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 47% renewable electricity, 156.42 mt of waste generation and 1,280.82 mcm of water use, alongside 11 employee fatalities and the first 5 kt batch of carbon-neutral nickel. It also describes the HPP-3 clean-up, indigenous peoples' FPIC process and extensive regional community programmes. The report includes limited assurance by FBK, LLC and public assurance by the RSPP Council.
