Corporate Responsibility Annual Report

The report presents NH Hotel Group's 2013 corporate responsibility performance and states that it achieved GRI G3.1 Application Level A+, with an independent KPMG review. Group workforce reporting covers 18,889 average FTE employees, with women representing 48.4% of the workforce. Environmental disclosures report 564,896,879 kWh of energy and 3,280,138 m3 of water consumption for comparable hotels, while carbon footprint fell 60.1% from 2008 to the reporting period. NH also reports that 100% of electricity used in its hotels in Spain, Germany and Italy came from renewable sources and that it reported to CDP and adhered to the UN Global Compact.
