Responsible Care Environmental Report

The report describes MGC's company-wide Responsible Care activities in calendar 2005 and its environmental performance data for fiscal 2004. It highlights a newly established GHG task force, FY2004 energy consumption of 522,000 kL and CO2 emissions of 1,451,000 tons. PRTR chemicals in the JCIA list totaled 507 tons emitted and 843 tons transferred, while PRTR Law-registered emissions totaled 285 tons. Waste management achieved a 0.37% waste emission rate and a 32% recycling rate.
