Overview

The report presents Mitsubishi Materials' 2008 CSR priorities through nine companywide key issues, including resource recycling, climate change, human resources, safety and stakeholder communication. It reports 9.22 million tons CO2 equivalent of greenhouse-gas emissions and a fiscal 2011 energy-source target of 3,950 thousand t, down 6% from fiscal 1991. It also discloses 49.2 billion MJ of energy consumption and 18.36 million m3 of water use, alongside extensive recycling activities.
