Overview

The report describes Mitsubishi Materials Group's FY2024 performance against its resource-recycling and decarbonization strategy. It reports 18,323 consolidated employees and Scope 3 emissions of approximately 8.67 million t-CO2e for categories 1, 3 and 15, down 2% year on year. The Group also reports a 36% self-sufficiency rate in renewable electricity and the start of commercial operation at the Appi Geothermal Power Plant. Looking ahead, it targets a 47% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 22% reduction in Scope 3 emissions by FYE March 2031, with carbon neutrality targeted for FYE March 2046.
