Sustainability Report

The report presents National Express Group's 2022 sustainability performance around modal shift, zero-emission vehicles and responsible governance. It reports 830,287 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 83.577 tCO2e of Scope 2 emissions and a Group-wide Scope 3 total of 600,400 tCO2e, with Scope 3 expanded to all relevant categories. The Group targets net zero by 2040 for Scope 1 and 2 emissions and reports a 60% female Board composition at 31 December 2022. Governance disclosures describe dedicated Board Sustainability Committee oversight and a Global Sustainability Steering Committee.
