Sustainability Report

The report presents Moelven's 2021 sustainability performance across climate, natural resources, people and local value. Group climate accounts report 15,541 tCO2e Scope 1, 2,261 tCO2e location-based Scope 2 and 151,061 tCO2e Scope 3; total energy consumption was 1048 GWh and 73% of total energy needs were met through bioenergy. The Group reports 3,312 employees, 16,187 tonnes of waste with a 92.6% sorting ratio, and 2,407,508 m3 of water consumed. It also describes EU Taxonomy assessment, materiality analyses, Board oversight of sustainability and UN Global Compact membership.
