Overview

The report describes Monash's renewed ESG Statement, approved by Council in December 2025, alongside a 2025 gross carbon footprint of 404,921 tonnes CO2e and Scope 3 emissions of 294,761 tonnes CO2e. It reports that all electricity came from renewable sources, while total energy consumption was 762,984 GJ. Waste generation fell to 3411 tonnes, with 47% diverted through recycling, organics and specialist recovery.
