Overview

The report highlights Mondelez International's completion of its first global sustainability goals in 2015, including a 19% per-tonne manufacturing greenhouse-gas reduction, 70% net-waste reduction and 17% incoming-water reduction. Cocoa Life reached 76,700 farmers in 795 communities, while 21% of cocoa was sustainably sourced. The company also reported 68% of production from Zero Waste to Landfill facilities and 100% certification of its 150 internal manufacturing sites against FSSC 22000. It introduced more ambitious 2020 goals covering absolute emissions, water, waste and packaging.
