Sustainability Report

The report presents Mondi's 2013 sustainability performance across energy, climate, people and supply-chain impacts. The company reports 144 million GJ of total energy use and direct Scope 1 emissions of 3.91 million tonnes CO2e from its material operations. It employed 24,400 people at year-end and reported four contractor fatalities, alongside continued safety improvement efforts. The report also estimates Scope 3 emissions at 2.7 million tonnes CO2e, covering raw materials, transport, commuting and business travel.
