Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes Mosaic's sustainability performance across food, environment, people, community and company governance for fiscal 2012, while noting that much sustainability data is for calendar 2011. Highlights include 3,593,390 tonnes CO2e of total GHG emissions, 84.5 million GJ of energy consumption and 8,000 employees. Mosaic reports $23.6 million invested in communities, became a UN Global Compact signatory and disclosed GRI and CDP reporting. It also describes board-linked sustainability oversight and a companywide environmental, health and safety management system.
