Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Mosaic's 2014 sustainability performance across resource use, climate, safety, workforce and community topics. It announces companywide 2020 targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, energy use and freshwater use by 10 percent per tonne of product. The report also provides detailed Scope 1, Scope 2 and partial Scope 3 emissions data, reports strong safety performance, and identifies 8,717 regular employees at year-end. Environmental data covering waste, energy, water withdrawals and greenhouse gas emissions was independently verified, while Mosaic continued its CDP reporting and UN Global Compact participation.
