Environmental Sustainability Report

The report highlights a 14.3% reduction in GHG emissions per solar cell in 2009 versus 2008, alongside process improvements in ingot casting and wafer slicing. It reports 251,365 tons of water recycling in 2009, 52% higher than in 2008. Motech also shipped 287 tons of polysilicon by sea in 2009, reducing emissions by 848 tons of CO2e.
