The report highlights revenue of R7.7 billion, up 12.9%, and 3,998 employees in 2013. Mpact recovered 451,000 tonnes of paper for recycling and acquired a 51% interest in Detpak South Africa. The Board also approved a R765 million investment in the Felixton Paper Mill, with energy-efficiency and environmental-footprint improvements among the expected benefits.
