Sustainability Review

The report presents Mpact's 2018 sustainability performance across its Southern African packaging and recycling operations. The company reported revenue of R10.6bn, 5,062 employees and 630,111 tonnes of recovered material. Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions totaled 775,338 tCO2e, while energy and water consumption were 5,304 TJ and 4,378 megalitres respectively. The review also describes a fatal workplace incident and strengthened safety, wellness, recycling and community programmes.
