Overview

The report presents Mpact's 2021 integrated performance across its paper, plastics and recycling operations, including R11.5 billion in continuing-operations revenue and 5,115 employees. It records 620,000 tonnes of recovered recyclables, 5,275 TJ of group energy consumption and 4,468 megalitres of water consumption. The company also approved 2027 targets for 15% energy and CO2e savings per production tonne against a normalised 2019 baseline, while safety performance deteriorated to 40 serious injuries and a 0.58 SIFR.
