Overview

The report presents MTN's 2017 sustainability performance across energy, climate, workplace safety, environmental management and digital inclusion. Group energy consumption was 19 095 879 GJ and GHG emissions were 2 006 248 tCO2e. The report records one workplace fatality and 34 workplace-related injuries, while more than 215 tonnes of e-waste was recycled. It also highlights mobile financial services, solar-energy access and SME-support initiatives across MTN's markets.
