Overview

The report describes MTR's 2021 sustainability strategy around social inclusion, advancement and opportunities, and greenhouse gas emissions reduction, supported by Board-approved KPIs. It highlights 3,161 GWh of worldwide electricity consumption, Hong Kong GHG emissions of 1,079,402 tonnes CO2e, green finance of HK$4.8 billion, and a commitment to carbon neutrality by 2050.
