Annual Report

The report presents FY2021 sustainability performance for the Group's steel manufacturing operations, including governance through a Board Risk & Sustainability Committee. It reports a 10% energy-reduction achievement against the 2017 baseline and a further 10% reduction target for 2022. Two plants began operating on solar power totalling 3.1 MWp, while 9,592 tonnes of steel scrap were recovered for recycling. The Group's combined carbon footprint fell to 0.07 tonnes/tonne output, below its 0.0733 tolerance threshold.
