Overview

The report describes NACCO's 2024 stewardship activities across safety, people, community and environmental management. It reports safety rates below the cited MSHA and OSHA benchmarks and approximately 1,700 employees at year-end. Environmental highlights include more than 1,100 acres eligible for bond release in 2024, a cumulative 64,000+ acres reclaimed, and approximately 73% of waste reused or recycled company wide.
