Sustainability Report

The report covers Nampak's environmental, social, economic and transformation performance for 1 October 2022 to 30 September 2023. It reports 3,667 employees, zero work-related fatalities and Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 51,497 and 200,064 tCO2e, respectively. Nampak describes a commitment to the SBTi, ongoing development of its Scope 3 inventory and increased environmental governance through a GEC sub-committee. It also reports 936 Ml of water consumption and 1,474,219 GJ of direct energy use.
