Annual Report

The report presents Nations Trust Bank's 2021 performance as a year of record profitability, with Group operating income of LKR 23,269 million and profit for the year of LKR 6,693,529 thousand. It reports a workforce of 2,677 employees, including 45% female representation, while continuing hybrid working and digital skills development. Environmental highlights include 6.5 Gwh of energy consumption, a 17.1% reduction in carbon footprint and 33.72 million litres of Group water consumption. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Core option and received limited sustainability assurance from Ernst & Young.
