Overview

The report presents Nedbank Group's 2017 sustainable development performance, including R18,4bn disbursed for renewable-energy deals and 2 100 MW added to the national grid. Overall reported GHG emissions decreased 1,16% year on year, while the group retained carbon-neutral status, held since 2010. Operational water consumption was 317 580 kℓ across campus sites, and about 76% of total waste was recycled. The workforce comprised 31 887 staffmembers, of whom 62,1% were female.
