Annual Sustainability Report

The report covers Neoenergia's 2022 financial and non-financial performance across its electricity generation, transmission, distribution and liberalized businesses. It highlights a Scope 1 emissions total of 105,872 tCO2e, continued renewable-energy expansion, and climate targets toward carbon neutrality before 2040. The group reported 15,406 employees alongside extensive workforce, diversity and safety disclosures, including five contractor fatalities and no employee fatalities. The report was prepared in accordance with GRI, uses SASB and TCFD guidance, and includes KPMG's limited independent assurance report.
