SustainabilityReports.com Selected as Featured Innovation at the 2026 UN STI Forum
On this page
SustainabilityReports.com has been selected as a featured innovation at the 2026 United Nations STI Forum, out of over 900 applications from around the world. Our founder and CEO, Dr. Kees Krul, will attend in person at UN Headquarters in New York on 6–7 May.

Why we applied
Access to corporate sustainability data remains costly and fragmented. The reports in which companies describe their environmental and social performance are often difficult to find and access, particularly for researchers, students, NGOs, and journalists in low-resource countries. We applied to the UN's Call for Innovations because we believe that achieving the SDGs requires that all countries and institutions, not only the most resourceful, have equal access to reliable sustainability data.
SustainabilityReports.com is the world's largest open database of corporate sustainability reports. The platform currently serves over 30,000 monthly users, with India and Indonesia among the top three most active countries. Many of our users are students and researchers who rely on the platform for academic work, policy analysis, and sustainability research. We have also serviced over 50 paying clients, including Harvard University, Peking University, and the Bank for International Settlements.
What we will present at the UN
The STI Forum is the United Nations' annual convening on science, technology, and innovation for the Sustainable Development Goals. The 2026 edition focuses on SDGs 6 (Clean Water), 7 (Affordable Energy), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), 11 (Sustainable Cities), and 17 (Partnerships). Our selection came through the Forum's Call for Innovations, which sought breakthrough, scalable solutions for low-resource settings.
At the Forum, we will present the next phase of our platform: using artificial intelligence to extract structured ESG data directly from sustainability reports, at a fraction of the usual cost. The goal is to make advanced sustainability data globally accessible.
What this means for our users
Being featured at the STI Forum gives SustainabilityReports.com visibility at the highest level of international sustainability policy. But more importantly, it reinforces what we have been building toward from the start: global transparency and accountability in sustainability reporting. Dr. Kees Krul will represent the company at UN Headquarters in New York on 6–7 May.
