Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Annual Report

The report describes NHPC's CSR and sustainability activities across education, health, rural development, sanitation, women empowerment, environment, sports and culture. Its largest highlighted outcome was construction of 7,045 school toilets against a target of 6,802 across 34 districts in eight states. FY 2014-15 CSR expenditure totaled 5223.94 lacs, and environmental initiatives included 686 LED solar street lights, afforestation and biodiversity-park work.
