Overview

The report describes the Group's biodiversity and sustainable-forestry activities, including 166,000 hectares of overseas plantations at the end of 2009. It reports CO2 emissions from fossil energy of 7.28 million tons and a 40% non-fossil energy share in fiscal 2009. Recovered-paper utilization reached 54.6% in fiscal 2009, supported by expanded processing and recycling initiatives.
