CSR Report

Overview

The report describes Nomura Group's CSR activities across financial education, community involvement, human rights, diversity and environmental management. In fiscal 2008, the company established a CSR Committee to promote CSR at management level. Environmental performance data was expanded to include all group companies, with water consumption reaching 308 (m3 1,000s) in 2007(FY). The report also highlights clean-technology venture investment, financial education programs and the Happy Career & Life Project.
