Sustainability Report

The report organizes Nomura Group's sustainability work around a thriving planet, a society where people can take on challenges and grow, and a resilient platform. In FY2025/26, market-based Scope 1 and 2 emissions decreased 6% year on year, while renewable electricity reached 77.4%. Financed emissions totaled 2.84 million t-CO2e, and the Group updated its sustainable finance target to US$200 billion over April 2021-March 2031. The report also describes the Nomura Well-Growing Institute, sustainable innovation investments, and expanded financial education initiatives.
