Sustainability Report

The report presents Nordea's 2016 shift from a reactive CSR approach to a proactive sustainability framework integrated into group functions and business areas. It describes a new governance model centered on the Business Ethics and Values Committee and Group Sustainability, alongside a materiality analysis involving 176 direct stakeholders. Environmental disclosures report 43,789 tonnes total CO2e, 212,806 MWh energy and 175 tonnes Scope 1 emissions. The report is a GRI-G4 Core disclosure and UN Global Compact COP submission, with third-party assurance of the report.
