Annual Report

The report integrates Nordea's sustainability reporting into the Annual Report for the first time, replacing the separate Sustainability Report. It sets an objective to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 and reduce carbon emissions across lending and investment portfolios by 40–50% by 2030 from a 2019 baseline. Operationally, energy consumption decreased by 7% in 2021, while the Group reported 29,239 employees and continued diversity and inclusion initiatives.
