Annual Report

The report describes Nordea's 2023 sustainability agenda across climate, sustainable finance and governance. The company reported a 51% reduction in internal operational emissions from the 2019 baseline, with total internal emissions of 20,372 tonnes of CO2e. It facilitated EUR 77bn of sustainable financing during the year and continued progressing toward its 2050 net-zero objective. ESG oversight was supported by the Board Operations and Sustainability Committee and the executive-level Sustainability and Ethics Committee.
