Sustainable Development Report

Overview

The report presents Northam's FY2008 sustainable development performance for its Northam Platinum Mine operations, including four workplace fatalities and detailed safety and health programmes. It reports 16.7 million cubic metres of water used, 593 640 MWh of purchased electricity, and Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 14 755 and 65 718 CO2-e metric tonnes.
