Overview

The report covers Northam's F2011 sustainability performance across its mining and metallurgical operations, with detailed disclosures on safety, employment, community development and environmental management. The company reported five fatalities, energy usage of 601 890MWh, new water used of 4 832 000m3 and CO2e emissions of 635 401 tonnes. Sustainability responsibility lay with the board, with oversight delegated to board committees.
