Overview

The report highlights Norwegian's continued fleet renewal and environmental efficiency in 2016, including fuel use of 1.2 million tons of Jet A-1 and emissions intensity of 73.8 grams of CO2 per passenger per kilometer. The Group employed 6 285 people at year-end, with 45 per cent women and 43 per cent female representation on the Board of Directors. It also describes biofuel use on flights departing Oslo and extensive corporate responsibility activities, including the UNICEF partnership.
