Annual Report

The report describes 2016 as a challenging commercial year while highlighting access to care for 28 million people with diabetes, a global workforce of 42,446 employees, and a new Access to Insulin Commitment. Environmental performance included 2,935 1,000 GJ of energy consumption, 3,293 1,000 m3 of water consumption and energy-related CO2 emissions declining to 92,000 tons. The report also presents consolidated social and environmental statements covered by a limited independent assurance engagement.
