Overview

The report presents NRW's first Sustainability Report for FY21, covering Australian operations and establishing a baseline for annual ESG disclosure. It highlights total Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions of 10.27 ktCO2-e, zero fatalities, an average total workforce of 6,454 and 20% female board participation. Sustainability oversight is assigned through a Board-established Sustainability Committee, while FY21 initiatives included training, paid parental leave, mental-health support and land rehabilitation. The report also records adoption of the TCFD reporting framework and guidance from GRI, although further phased implementation and materiality work are described as ongoing.
