The report describes Nyrstar's 2014 sustainability priorities around workforce health and safety, water, energy and climate change, biodiversity, material stewardship, and community engagement. It reports 6,611 employees at year-end, 23.9 PJ of energy consumption, 2.38 million tonnes of direct and indirect GHG emissions, and 17.3 million m3 of fresh water consumption. It also records one critical environmental incident and 12 recordable non-compliances during the year.
