Overview

The report integrates ÖBB's audited 2023 sustainability disclosures into the Group management report, covering climate, resource, social, and governance topics. It reports consolidated 2023 Scope 1 emissions of 280,669 CO2e tonnes, market-based Scope 2 emissions of 99,965 CO2e tonnes, and a Scope 3 range of 1,700,000 – 2,600,000 CO2e tonnes. The Group reported 45,041 employees and 3,695,934 tonnes of total waste. Key forward-looking commitments include CO2 neutrality for the mobility sector by 2030 and Group neutrality in the 2040 - 2050 horizon.
