Overview

The report presents ÖBB's first non-financial statement prepared under ESRS and includes voluntary Group-level EU Taxonomy disclosures. It reports 47,484 employees, consolidated revenue of 5,707,016.3 kEUR, total energy consumption of 3,687,117 megawatt hours and total waste of 4,355,983 tons (t) for 2024. Gross GHG emissions were 275,417 tons CO2 eq in Scope 1, 457,960 tons CO2 eq location-based Scope 2, 138,635 tons CO2 eq market-based Scope 2 and 2,236,875 tons CO2 eq Scope 3 using the supplier-based figure. The year also records the September flooding and restoration of the western line, alongside a Group net-zero target for 2050.
