Overview

The report describes OMV's 2011 sustainability performance across its human, natural and financial resourcefulness programs. Highlights include a Group workforce of 30,150 employees, 11.6 mn t of direct Scope 1 emissions, total water consumption of 52 mn cubic meters and 833,009 t of waste generated. The report also records four work-related fatalities and three fatal commuting accidents. Ernst & Young provided limited assurance over selected contractor management, business ethics, workplace safety and Scope 1 GHG disclosures.
