Overview

The report describes Petrom Group's 2011 sustainability performance across Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and the Republic of Moldova. Energy consumption and direct GHG emissions declined from 2010, while waste generation increased to 551,555.6 t, largely because of remediation and demolition projects. Safety performance included zero employee fatalities but one contractor fatality. The report also details extensive environmental management, community investment and employee health and safety initiatives.
