Sustainability Report

The report presents Orion's first sustainability report, covering a global carbon black business with 14 production sites and 1,437 employees in 2018. It reports 2,593,577 MT of Scope 1 GHG emissions, 205,365 MT of Scope 2 emissions, 19,341 MT of waste, and zero employee and contractor fatalities. Governance was strengthened through sustainability oversight by a Board committee and a Sustainability Committee chaired by the CEO. The company also set a 5% GHG-intensity reduction target against a normalized 2014 baseline by 2029.
