Overview

The report describes Orkla's 2015 sustainability work across nutrition and health, responsible sourcing, environment, occupational health and safety, human resource development and society. It reports 101,395 tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions and 45,961 tCO2e of Scope 2 emissions, while total waste fell 11% from 2014 to 2015. The report also highlights 42% UTZ-certified cocoa, 75% MSC-certified marine portfolio for Orkla Foods companies and 45.6% women among employees. Sustainability data on emissions, energy and water consumption was verified by CO2 Focus.
