Sustainability Review

The report describes Outokumpu's 2019 sustainability performance, including a 20% science-based reduction target for Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions per tonne of stainless steel by 2023, a 13.8% reduction against the 2014-2016 baseline, 28,254 TJ of energy use, 89.6% recycled content, zero fatalities and zero significant environmental incidents. It also documents broad sustainability assurance and continued work on safety, supply chain responsibility and circular economy practices.
