Our Approach to Sustainability

The report describes Ovintiv's 2023 sustainability progress across emissions, communities, safety and governance. The company reports a 42% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions intensity from 2019 and maintains a 50% reduction target by 2030. It also committed $10.2 million to local children's hospitals and expanded community support. A company-wide safety review and independent third-party review produced four strategic actions, while Board committees continued oversight of ESG and climate-related matters.
