Overview

The report presents PayPal's first comprehensive ESG report covering global operations in calendar year 2017. It reports total global energy consumption of 325,089 MWh and global market-based GHG emissions of 93,471 t CO2e. Renewable energy represented 45% of total energy, while 49 million people contributed $8.5 billion to more than 640,000 charitable organizations through PayPal. The report also describes PayPal's environmental, employee, inclusion, and responsible-business programs.
