Corporate Responsibility Report

Overview

The report is STAR's first corporate responsibility report and describes sustainability efforts across a large African retail group. It reports R42 million invested in training and development, 177 000+ training hours, and 25 800+ employees trained. The report also discloses 262 037 tonnes CO2e of total carbon emissions, comprising 56 441 tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 and 212 860 tonnes CO2e of Scope 2 emissions. Scope 3 emissions were not included in the assessment.
