Annual Report

The report describes Persimmon's 2015 operational carbon footprint of 31,557 tonnes CO2e, including Scope 1 emissions of 27,647 tonnes CO2e and Scope 2 emissions of 3,910 tonnes CO2e. It reports that construction waste recycled rose to 92% and waste per home built fell to 6.3 tonnes. The workforce averaged 4,188 employees and received over 10,210 training days, averaging 2.4 days per employee. The company also completed an ESOS energy audit and formulated an action plan to reduce energy costs and minimize consumption.
