Overview

The report describes Persimmon's 2019 sustainability performance across its workforce, operations, environment and communities. Employee numbers increased to 5,285 at 31 December 2019, while total greenhouse gas emissions were 34,006 tonnes of CO2e. Waste recycling reached 97%, and ultimate responsibility for sustainability rested with the Board, supported by the Corporate Responsibility Committee.
